My perfect audience member-
The two above images are taken from the website uktribes.com, and I think they show a brief insight into my perfect audience member. The image on the right is of a girl who I can see fitting as my target audience as a socially conscious, 16-25 year old who is from the middle to upper market group. Her Fashion isn't quite mainstream and I can see her wanting to listen to music which is known as 'underground' so that in herself she feels like she politically 'woke' and listens to artists that not your average person will listen to. In addition, I think my target audience will be mainly females who don't want to 'fit in' as the song is all about representation of females who are not 'prim nor proper'.
I think my audience member is the sort of person who will listen to 90s-00s rock or indie rock, featuring artists such as Blur, The pixies, Oasis, Weezer, Arctic monkeys and The strokes. They may also like to listen to indie music from todays generation such as Tame Impala, The Kooks and Tyler the creator. The whole idea around their music taste is that it is not music that is often found on the Charts, for example they would never admit to listen to Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, or Cardi B.
In addition, their music is one of their defining characteristics, they have built their personality around listening and being involved with music and they also surround themselves with people who also listen to the same music as them. You will often find perfect audience member attending music concert regularly but mostly artists that not many people will know.
Furthermore, I envision them to be a vegetarian or someone who is socially conscious of the effect that meat production has on the environment yet they haven't cut meat completely out of their diet. They are not activists for the vegetarian cause and don't think they would ever be at a vegan rally of sorts yet they are still aware of their views and respects them.
Other aspects of my perfect audience member will also be that they are feminists, fashion lovers ( indie fashion) and also people who are not extremely popular but are mutually friends with everyone so it would not be a surprise to see them at a party. They have a chill personality but are in no way boring as they have depth to themselves unlike the other groups of people on the uktribes website.
